I have a chest full of gold weapons and since they turned on the green drop this weekend, I also picked up 3 or 4 greenies. Funny, the green stuff doesn't look like it will vendor for much. Is this stuff worth trying to sell or should I just vendor it all to a merchant ? Some of the gold stuff will vendor for 200 to 300 gold. I see people standing around the towns "WTS xxxx"... tough way to have to sell.

*If you're not sure what stuff is worth get a PC.
*Greens tend to not sell for much because they have no prestige. Mostly they get thrown on heroes, given away to guildies (for nice people), or sit around in storage for a long time until you find someone that wants them.
*Make a sell thread if you don't want to sit around spamming 'WTS ...'.

Green weapons are currently undervalued, which is great for those of us who use them.

After all they have perfect stats and if you get the right ones they are perfectly good for player and heroes to use.

Cannot salvage them and cannot alter them, selling to a vendor is a complete waste as price is very low.

However if you cannot use them on your heroes and don't want to spend the next few days trying to sell them then getting what you can from the vendor is your only option.

The thing with greens is their availability - grenths footprint yesterday yielded 3 greens from 2 bosses and has to be one of a few places where greens drop easily and sadly the greens are common and almost worthless.Other hard to get greens are higher priced and i can remember a few years ago when dwaynas grace was between 30 and 50k and these days its probably under 10k.
Also most greens can be cloned with golds cept a few that have specialised mods ( +60hp as example ).

When it comes to gold weapons, there are only a few skins that are worth a whole lot. Then there's a few that are worth around 5k-ish if they are req9 and max damage. The rest, these days, are not really worth trying to sell. You can get 300-400g from the merchant, or spend loads of time trying to sell them for 1-1.5k - not really worth it considering how much gold and/or useful items you could farm in that time.

The best way to find out what golds may be worth something would be to search the Price Check and buy/sell forums and Guru Auctions to get an idea of what prices are these days. You could also post in the PC forum if you think something you have may be worth something.

For greens, because most of them are so easily farmed, (not to mention the regular "double drop rate" type events), they are generally not worth much these days. Also, although greens have "max" stats, they often have stats that, though max, are not that desirable. Again, you can check the PC & buy/sell forums and Guru Auctions to get pricing info.
It's sad when I have to merch greens to make space, but "easy come, easy go".
